Operation: Give Big Dogs A Break!

Operation: Give Big Dogs A Break!

Have a large dog but can’t find any hotels willing to accept them because of their size? Are you having to change your vacation plans or not go at all?

More and more hotels are allowing dogs but the majority have weight restrictions varying from 20 pounds and up. That means a lot of family dogs, including the always popular labs, retrievers, and even beagles aren’t allowed to go with the family on vacation. No fair!

GoPetFriendly.com and AndASmallDog.com have teamed up to encourage hotels to lift their weight restrictions – after all, big dogs deserve vacations, too!

We have started a petition which we hope will garner nationwide support. Click here to sign your name in support of allowing dogs – of all sizes – to have vacations with their family members!

Visit the petition here: http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/givebigdogsabreak/

Follow us on Twitter to get up-dates about our progress! Our initial goal is 1,000 signatures, but we’re hoping we blow though that and go for 5,000!

Lastly, leave a comment below about why you support this campaign and let the hotels hear why they should change their strict policies!

Thank you for your support!

I came from the Saturday blog hop because I remember hearing about you from the folks at GoPetFriendly. I just had to click your link. As a Newf owner, I totally get ya, and I’m more than happy to sign the petition!
